Top 5 Signs of Premature Aging - How to Fight Them?

What is early aging? How does it manifest itself and how does it begin? The answers to these questions will help, if not turn back the clock, then at least prolong youth for a long time.

Aging is the process of gradual disruption and loss of important functions of the body or its parts, in particular the ability to reproduce and regenerate. This process is natural, but, unfortunately, sometimes it comes prematurely. What signs may indicate this, and what needs to be done to prevent such a development of events - we figure out together with the doctor, the author of best-selling books, the founder of the first Academy of Health Natalia Zubareva.

A variety of factors can lead to premature aging, and the main one is a lifestyle: where and how you live, how you eat (both overeating and a low-calorie unbalanced diet are equally bad), how much you sleep, how much and at what time you work ( nervous work, irregular work schedule, heavy loads, lack of adequate rest). It is also important what emotions you experience regularly and how often you are exposed to stress.

In addition, smoking, excessive sun exposure, insufficient water intake, a sedentary lifestyle, rare walks in the fresh air, and poor ecology cannot be ignored. And now about the premature signs of aging that cannot be overlooked.

Skin aging and hair loss / thinning

The first mimic wrinkles begin to appear from the age of 25 - these are the very small "crow's feet" at the outer corners of the eyes. Followed by deeper horizontal creases in the forehead and vertical eyebrow folds. As a result, the face becomes tired, the skin loses its elasticity and smoothness, edema, double chin, pronounced nasolabial fold may appear.

All of this is due to a natural decrease in the amount of collagen that the skin produces. Collagen plus elastic is the basis of the dermis, keratin is the basis of the hair. Also, vascular tone and blood micro circulation deteriorate, the supply of nutrients and oxygen to the surface of the skin decreases, due to which it loses the radiance characteristic of youth. Age spots appear - marks of wilting, which signal the beginning of skin aging. Hair loss and thinning are a consequence of the aging of the hair shaft and hair follicle (in this matter, the lion's share is assigned to genetics).

Decreased ability to naturally regenerate

If wounds and bruises on the body heal much more slowly than before, this may be the case. The skin is restored and renewed due to the division of cells in the epidermis, and at different ages, this process takes a different amount of time. The younger the body, the faster the regeneration proceeds.

Decreased muscle mass

The body becomes flabby and the muscles lose their tone. The same physical actions, previously performed with ease, now require more effort.

Shortened and lean menstrual cycle

These signs can appear as early as 15 years before menopause - at the age of 30-40. The waltz of hormones must be properly managed, all links of the hormonal chains must be controlled since their imbalance can lead to weight gain, reduction in muscle mass, sleep disturbances, stress, which can also cause premature aging.

Gaining excess weight

You could eat anything and practically not get better, and now you are gaining kilograms with your usual diet? Fat accumulates especially quickly on the back, buttocks, thighs, and especially on the abdomen, but is it much more difficult to lose weight than before? Such problems are probably related to the work of hormones.

The main female hormones of youth are estrogens, the main male hormone of youth is testosterone. By the way, both of them are formed from the hormone DHEA, the production of which begins to decline steadily after 30 years. But insulin affects aging directly (the more insulin, the faster the body ages).

In addition, a high level of this hormone leads to the development of serious pathologist such as obesity, cardiovascular diseases, etc., which cause global damage to the body, wearing out all organs and systems.

How to avoid premature aging?

The first step is to analyze your lifestyle. Part bad habits without regret - the older you are, the more destructive and rapid they affect the body. Sleep well and a sufficient amount of time following circadian rhythms (lights out no later than 23-00, wake up at 6-7 in the morning).

Avoid sources of stress and minimize their presence in your life. Your body needs to get adequate physical activity every day. At least 4-5 thousand steps a day and 20 minutes of gymnastics.

Fewer chemicals and less plastic, and this apply to both cosmetics and household products, as well as everything you deal with in your daily life, such as plastic food containers and foil for baking.

Eat a full and varied diet, and drink at least 2 liters of water a day. Note that some foods are high in antioxidants and may have a protective effect on the skin. For example, green leafy vegetables are a great source of antioxidants, fol-ate, and vitamin K, as well as several other ingredients that protect skin from damage and help nourish and hydrate. These include various types of cabbage, arugula, spinach, lettuce, dill, parsley, basil, sorrel, tarragon, lettuce.

Protein will help activate the longevity gene - 80-100 g for each meal. If you eat meat, then it should be from animals fed with natural food, and if fish, then raised in the wild. Don't forget about vegetable protein. Thanks to legumes, the body produces hyaluronic acid, a substance that keeps the skin smooth and elastic.
